Fahren oder zum Fuß in Deutschland ist gefährlich! Driving and walking in Germany is dangerous!
A new woman in my German school from San Francisco was just killed a few Fridays ago right by my apartment. Super sad. She was really nice. I only talked to her a couple of times, but we had plans to hang since she also lived in the neighborhood. Our teacher told us on Monday. I've found that Germans drivers are generally pretty cautious and good drivers, but they drive really fast. Like how the stereotype is.
RIP Shelly. I don't even know her last name. The article doesn't state it. She had only lived here for a little longer than me. It the same street I cross all the time to get to the Elbe, like she was trying to do. Crazy.
